ObjectiveA retrospective survey was performed on the influencing factors of childhood allergic rhinitis with Asthma, aged 3~14 years in Nanchong city.MethodsThe medical records of 1473 children with AR (3~14 years old) who had undergone allergen skin puncture test and specific IgE test in Allergen testing center, Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from September 2016 to June 2019 for children characteristics, allergen types and influence factors of BA by SPSS22.0.ResultsAmong the 1473 children with AR, 309 were complicated with BA（20.98%）. A multiple logistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors of AR in children with BA for the urban living environment, sustainability AR, AR more than 3 years, a family history of AR/BA, Keeping pets at home, exposure to passive smoking, preterm birth, selfmedication with antibiotics, dust mites, cladosporium herbarum, mugwort, shrimp, sinusitis, allergic conjunctivitis, snoring and eczema respectively. The protective factors for BA in children with AR were breastfeeding for more than 3 months and older age.ConclusionsThe prevalence rate of BA in children with AR aged 3~14 years in Nanchong city is relatively high. Our research suggest that the influencing factors for concomitant BA in children with AR may be helpful in establishing preventive strategies of children.
