Abstract:Objective To analyze the distribution of common allergens in children with allergic rhinitis (AR) in Xinjiang, to provide reference for epidemiological research, diagnosis and treatment of children with AR in this area. Methods From January 2017 to June 2021, 566 children with AR with typical symptoms and signs were enrolled in the study. Serum specific allergen (sIgE) . Results Visit time, different age and gender groups analyzed. Results: 425 cases (75.1%) of AR children were positive for at least one allergen. Inhaled allergens were the main sensitizers. Mugwort, house dust mites, dust mites, willows, and house dust were the five most common inhalations allergens. The top 5 ingestible allergens are: milk, wheat flour, eggs, peanuts, and beef. Among children with AR in different age groups, there are three inhaled allergens of mugwort, willow, and ragweed. Among the ingested allergens, the positive rate of milk is statistically different (P<0.017), and male allergens are positive The rate is slightly higher than that of women (P>0.05), the positive rate of house dust in men is significantly higher than that of women, and the positive rate of lamb in women is higher than that in men (P<0.05). Conclusion Most allergens in children with AR in Xinjiang are positive for inhaled allergens. The distribution of allergens in different seasons is different. There are some differences in allergens in different age groups and different genders.
