Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of repairing pulsing tinnitus caused by bone wall defect of sigmoid sinus with ear cartilage.Methods Source Pulsing tinnitus caused by bone wall defect of sigmoid sinus was exposed by surgery, then ear cartilage was taken and inserted to repair the bone wall defect of sigmoid sinus and sigmoid sinus constriction.Results Seven cases of pulpulsive tinnitus with bone wall defect of sigmoid sinus were repaired by ear cartilage. After follow-up observation for 4-36 months, 6 cases were cured and 1 case had obvious effect. Conclusion The use of ear cartilage to repair pulsing tinnitus caused by bone wall defect of sigmoid sinus is easy to operate, convenient to obtain materials, no need to increase surgical incision, small trauma, no postoperative auricle malformation, strong plasticity of ear cartilage, no rejection of autologous tissue, easy to survive, and worthy of promotion.
