Objective?To summarize and analyze the characteristics of foreign bodies in children's throat, and to provide guidance and help for the condition assessment, extraction method and prognosis of foreign bodies in children's throat.Methods The clinical data of 185 children with foreign bodies in the throat from May 2021 to May 2023 were retrospectively analyzed, and the correlation between foreign body removal methods and age, gender, foreign body type, foreign body location, foreign body Angle, and age and foreign body type was analyzed.Results There is no correlation between the method of foreign body removal and the age, gender, type, location and Angle of foreign body,P＞0.05； but there is correlation between foreign body type and age of children，P＝0.01＜0.05.Conclusions Children suspected of foreign bodies in the throat should carefully inquire about their medical history and improve relevant examinations. For foreign bodies that are difficult to be removed in outpatient clinics, such as foreign bodies removed under general anesthesia as soon as possible to reduce complications.
