Abstract:With the increasing incidence of Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma(HNSCC) in the world and the change of epidemiological trend, as well as the fact that more patients with HNSCC are diagnosed at an advanced stage and often accompanied by metastasis, the factors of HNSCC metastasis in the tumor microenvironment have attracted more and more attention. This article reviews the cell communication role of exosomes in tumor progression, the role of epithelial mesenchymal transformation(EMT) in tumor progression, the relationship between exosomes and EMT, the research progress of exosomes in EMT of HNSCC, and the clinical application prospects of exosomes in tumor EMT. To investigate the effect of exosomes on EMT in the tumor microenvironment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
