Abstract:【】Objective: To analyze the types and distribution characteristics of inhaled allergens in patients with allergic rhinitis (AR) in Chengdu, and to provide reference for local AR pre-treatment. Methods: From January 2019 to December 2022, 12486 AR patients with complete data who received allergen detection in the otolaryngology outpatient department of Chengdu Second People"s Hospital were used as research objects to analyze the types and distribution characteristics of allergens. Results: Single allergen allergy accounted for 43.31% of 12486 AR patients. Double or multiple allergen allergy accounted for 56.69%. The top three allergens of single allergen allergy and double or multiple allergen allergy were dust mites, ragweed and cat dander. Dust mite +++ patients accounted for 61.83% and 77.52%. The proportion of AR patients in 2-14 years old group was 38.49%, which was higher than 21.39% in 15-24 years old group, 18.46% in 25-34 years old group, 8.87% in 35-44 years old group and 12.79% in ≥45 years old group. The proportion of allergic patients in 15-24 years old group was higher than 35-44 years old group and ≥45 years old group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The proportion of patients with double or more allergies in 2-14 years old group was higher than that in 15-24 years old group, 25-34 years old group, 35-44 years old group and ≥45 years old group. The proportion of patients with double or more allergies in 15-24 years old group was higher than that in 35-44 years old group and ≥45 years old group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The rates of dust mite allergy in 2-14 years old and 15-24 years old groups were higher than those in 25-34 years old, 35-44 years old and ≥45 years old, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The allergic rates in summer and autumn were 36.02% and 33.04%, respectively, higher than 12.54% in spring and 18.40% in winter. The rate of dust mite allergy in summer was 81.08%, which was higher than that in spring, autumn and winter. The allergic rate of ragweed in spring was higher than that in summer, autumn and winter, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The proportion of AR patients in 2022, 2021 and 2020 was higher than that in 2019, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The proportion of dust mite allergy in 2022, 2021 and 2020 was higher than that in 2019; The proportion of dust mite allergy in 2022 and 2021 was higher than that in 2020; The proportion of cat dander allergy in 2022 was higher than that in 2019 and 2020. The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The incidence of AR in Chengdu has been on the rise in recent years, dust mites are the most important inhalation allergens, summer and autumn are the high incidence season of allergy, children are more susceptible to allergies than adults, and they are prone to multiple allergies.
