Objective To analyze and summarize the clinical and pathological characteristics of four cases of nasal cavity seromucinous hamartoma(SMH).Methods Summarize and analyze the clinical,radiological,pathological and prognostic data of 4 patients with nasal cavity SMH diagnosed at the Second People’s Hospital of Liaocheng City from 2019 to 2023.Results There were 4 patients,3 males and 1 female.Age range from 23 to 66 years old,with an average age of 39.75 years old.The main symptoms of the 4 patients were unilateral nasal congestion and purulent discharge.Three lesions were located in the uncinate process,and one lesion was located in the middle turbinate.Pathological changes manifest was clustered or lobular proliferation of mucinous glands and ducts under the mucosa.All patients underwent endoscopic lesion resection and have been followed up to date,with no recurrence.Conclusion The clinical symptoms of nasal cavity SMH lack specificity,and the pathological manifestation are unique.Thorough surgical removal of the lesion is an effective treatment method.
